I'm going to do a juice fast this weekend and kinda don't know where to start. If I'm doing to do a "green juice fast" what should I juice besides kale/spinach/lettuce?

and is it ok to add a little fruit to the green juice to make it easier to drink or will I not get as much benefits by adding fruit?

thanks guys!

ps, what are some good juice combos?

celery (my favorite..green, but sweet. more hydrating than water too), cuke, some say tomato is ok

parsley, dandelion greens, romaine (i dont like this juiced, though. at all), green peppers (some say red peppers are ok too.)

stay away from chard its so awful juiced

some say tart green apples are okay.

try to get in 2 lbs of leafy greens a day, and a head of celery.

i really like a bunch of kale and celery together, or celery with tomato, or tomato alone. i dont like cuke juice much at all..but make myself drink it sometimes for the silica. though i dont even know if the silica is there in juice form. but whatever..middle eastern and central chinese drink cuke juice to stay hydrated..and they always have glowing skin.

good luck :)
