Hi Everyone,

I'm finally going to a raw food restaurant. I'm very excited.:) This is the only raw food cafe/restuarant in my state of Mass as far as I know. If anyone has ever been there, I would really appreciate recommendations, or feedback on what you liked or not.

It's almost 3 hours away from where I live, so I can't become a regular and get to know the menu very well.:( I hope to eat there twice while I am in the Boston area this weekend, though. Yay!!

Thanks in advance,

All the best,

Soulstar

Domestic Goddess,

I'll certainly post a review after I sample their goodies. I've been wanting to get out there for a couple of years but I've been living mostly in Northern NY for the last 18 months so it has been a bit out of the way to get there. LOL
I was hoping someone would be able to give me some ideas of what I shouldn't miss on their menu. It all looks good.:p

Take care,

Soulstar

Soulstar: I'll be waiting for a review: We'r going to Worcester next year (I'm in Oregon!) so I'm making a list for places to check out .

Will definitely visit Alissas' on the New Hempshire border. Hope her restaurant is in full swing then !

Right down the street from OG is Chianti. It's a Tuscan restaurant, but the owner has been raw for two years (a friend of Alissa's) and if you call in advance (day of is fine), he'll make you a raw feast ... even if others at the table prefer to eat his cooked treats.

Highly recommend it!!!

Thank You 'bohstonian' from 'wooster' girl here; would you have the phone number? It will be easy to have all this info in advance instead of searching for it on vacation hecktic schedule.

I know Chianti Restaurant is having a special 6 course luncheon for only $25 on Saturday June 16th. That might be something to look into. I know they have a limited seating of 70 so I would look into that sooner than later.

I've been to the organic garden alot they have really good stuff. I've only been raw for 10 days. and thats the only place i eat because cooking raw is way to hard for me!. lol I love the Nori rolls and the hummus wrap in lettuce for a wrap. hope this helps

Hey! I am excited to hear how the restaurant is, PLEASE give a detailed critique. I live about an hour from there, too..I'm in southern NH.

Also, does anyone know if Alissa is still opening her restaurant? I know it was going to be in Portsmouth, NH (only 10 minutes from me!). My colon hydrotherapist told me that it isn't happening anymore, and now she is considering opening one in Northern Maine. Is this true? Say it ain't so?!

This place is great. Be sure to check out Chianti, too - call ahead, they'll make you raw food. I loved the rawviolis.

Alissa decided not to open the restaurant. Do a search and you'll find her thread about it and explanation. =(
