I started making this a few weeks ago & now this is my favorite ice cream. Good replacement for peanut butter chocolate ice cream.
Mix together in chopper or blender.
The way I make it: In my little mini 3-cup food chopper, I add 3-4 banana halfs or quarters, 2 tsp carob powder, 1-2 tsp almond butter & several squirts of agave. Often I'll blend the carob, bananas & agave first & then go back & add the almond butter & more agave.

that's one of my favorites too!!!! i eat enough banana ice ceam to make the everyone at all the local health food stores think i'm a monkey when i leave with bunches and bunches of bananas!!!
I'm actually in the midst of writing a raw ice cream book, it's a very fun project and of course the taste-testing is the best part!
I also have to say gilmoregirl, that i love your name. . . as my "secret indulgence" is to curl up with a bowl of banana ice cream and watch episodes of Gilmore Girls. in fact, on this rainy, cold and grey day when i get home from yoga, that is exactly what i'm going to do!

Blacktulip, don't forget tonight is a new episode. ;) I record it & then save it for awhile until the "right time" to watch. I will be very sad when it's gone. :(
Cool that you're putting together an ice cream book. I'm sure there are all kind of great combinations.
