I know many of you own a dehydrator and life must be brilliant :p , but I don't have one, and it feels like there are a lot of delicious recipes I am missing out on.

So...

I was wondering if there are any recipes that are meant to be dehydrated, but taste OK without doing it? I've heard people say they eat the cookie dough mixture before it's on the tray. (Please, what cookies??)

Today I made the 'Bean-less fallafel!' without dehydrating it. It tasted ok with some tomato and lettuce.

Any one else care to share??

Thanks!!! :) :D

Yes, actually, maybe there's no point in this topic. There's nothing better than a cantaloupe for dinner, or a juicy mango, or a big green salad.

I don't actually dehydrate much other than breads and seeds/nuts. As for burgers and those sort of things, I usually ate them without dehydrating. The texture is moist instead of the dehydrator taking the moisture away. As for cookie recipes, do a search and you'll find tons! (see banana at top of page...)
