View Full Version : I will never consume dairy AGAIN!

Dairy was the last thing to go when I went raw in January. During the month of February, I would have a Steamer from Starbucks about once a week. By March, I hadn't consumed any milk at all. Last week, I was exhausted when I awoke and just couldn't get myself moving. So, I went to the coffee shop before work and ordered a latte.
A few hours later I was doubled over in pain. I couldn't get myself out of the bathroom. I took me a while to figure out the source. But, by that evening, I knew it was from the milk.
I'm going to write one-hundred times "I will not drink milk. I will not drink milk. I will not drink milk."

sounds like your body has lost the need for the dairy digesting enzymes and stomach mucous lining... :) Starbucks offers soymilk, by the way, if you're in a pinch! Feel better!!

Good decision! and here is a suggestion. The subconscious mind doesn't hear or understand 'I won't' or 'not' or 'no' or 'never'. So perhaps say something like the following:
I like drinking beverages that agree with my body.
I love drinking almond milk!
..you get the idea.

Oh yeah...dairy is some nasty heavy stuff. Kids that have tubes put in their ears? Dairy related. It's very mucous forming - nasty crap.
Here's some food for thought:
We are the ONLY species that suckles milk from another. It's a big money making business.

the positive health bebefits of cutting dairy out of my life have been tremendous.
No more ear infections...formerly something I dealt with sereral times a year and into adulthood. Permanent hearing loss could have been prevented if we'd have had a clue when I was growing up.
No more psoriasis
Much smoother digestion
Clearer skin, greatly reduced acne.
less mucus in my sinuses each morning
fewer headaches, actually NONE between single monthly pms headache, and even that has diminished significantly.
Better mood (probably b/c am not getting bovine growth hormones)
When I do eat dairy, like a slip up with ice cream, I feel lazy and fuzzy-headed the next day. Not worth it when I can so easily make something with naners or coconut meat, or just have a creamy almond milk smoothie.
Just seeing what they do to dairy cows to make them more productive is enough for me to find milk unappealing. Eeek.
Congratulations on learning hat your body has made such a giant leap in healthy tendencies!
