If I soaked some almonds intending to use them to make almond milk but never got around to it, how long would the almonds stay good in the refrigerator?

They wouldn't go rancid or anything right? Shouldn't they still be good to use for a long time?

IMO, If they smell sour, then there might be a problem. But, even then, the sourness might just be in the soaking water, so you can rinse them and change the water and then see if they still seem sour. I think that it is all about how they smell/taste. Obviously, if there is mold on them, then they are no good. LOL..

Can you tell I do not like to throw stuff away?:p

I think, for future reference, that if you change the water regularly, they stay fresh much longer...:D

Others might be more cautious, but I have never had a stomach bug from "bad" food..lol.. I think my immune system must be pretty strong. I grew up in the country on a farm ...

Have a great day!!!

If you've not dehydrated after soaking, they'll probably get moldy w/in a few days.

I even dehydrated mine after soaking and ate a few they were totally dry but in a week I saw mold growing on them.
