is this considered raw if yo buy it prepackaged at the store? it says organic and it is an opaque bag to protect nutrients, but im not sure. and i love it with some water and honey and raisins so i dont want to give it up.

I can't say for sure about what you buy pre-ground but it's quite easy to make your own with a Magic Bullet or coffee grinder from the flax seeds. That being said, I buy it both ways. For raw recipes I grind my own. For baked things for my daughter I use the pre-ground. It's just quicker for me to do it that way and raw isn't an issue in that case.
