I'd like to know what folks use when making their green smoothies, blender or juicer?

I have been using my juiceman juicer to make green smoothies. All the fiber is left to dispose of and I'm wondering if I'm throwing away the best part, god I don't know! Thing is that I'm not quite getting the energy buzz I was hoping for (based on reading other posts it sounds like some folks are getting a major juice buzz). So I was wondering what other folks use.

I do have a Vitamix blender, maybe I should be using that.

My smoothies are generally, a ton on spinach, kale, wheat grass, 2 green apples. It works out to about 16 oz's. Maybe I'm not making/drinking enough. Anyway, many thanks for your input.

If you're using a juicer, then you're making juice and not a smoothie. Smoothies are blended in the blender with all fiber intact. Juicing removes the fiber. Yes, use your Vitamix :) You can add more fruit if you need to in order to tolerate the taste of the blended greens and you'll want to add some liquid to it to make it the consistency that is right for you. This can be fresh squeezed orange juice or water or nut milk (makes it creamier).

I recommend listening in on Revvell's interview with Victoria Boutenko as she speaks on the difference with green juice and green smoothies!
