View Full Version : Is no bad breath due to raw or vegan?

I no longer have bad breath in the morning when I get up. It used to be really bad before raw. However, I switched directly from SAD to Raw vegan. So, I'm not sure what caused this pleasant change. :) Raw or vegan? I know there are a lot of people here who were vegan for many years before switching to raw vegan. What's your experience?

I'd guess raw b/c raw does more to make sure food passes thru your digestive system without getting backed up, putrifying, etc.

Same here, I've noticed my breath seems actually kinda fresh in the morning when I'm all raw. And, less stinky when I work out. :)

I noticed bad breath when I was Vegan. I notice no (stinky) breath since going raw.

I've noticed that my chronic halitosis is disappearing. I think it is from RAW...when I was vegetarian, I still had it, and I think it worsened as I have candida. As my candida is clearing, it seems my bad breath is also!:D AAAHHH an added bonus to being raw!

It is definitely due to being raw! Lots of vegans have stinky breath. :-)
All the best,

Wow, thanks everyone, for letting me know.
My mom, who eats healthy SAD, had really bad breath this morning. I had none. She said that it's because I don't eat meat. I had to find out the truth. Raw is dynamite!
