Hello everyone,
I'm about 1 week into seriously trying to go 100% raw and I'm researching many things at once. I've purchased Alissa's book, a Vita-Mix, a Black and Decker proc, a Saladacco, and an Excalibur is on its way in the mail. I guess you could say I'm on a mission ;)
Alissa's book is quite amazing. A great place to start indeed, and after preparing and eating the raw pasta last week and about bursting with energy, I am looking for people to talk with about pursuing this diet in eastern Montana.
In Billings here, we have the Good Earth Market as a co-op and there isn't much variety compared to, say, Rainbow in San Fran. I've been looking into alternatives such as azurestandard.com (I have yet to make friends with people who have created abundant garden situations ;)
Aside from that, the summer months are much too short and cold weather lasts for something like 8 months out of the year in Montana, so I'm curious as to how some of you have adapted. Thanks so much for some responses - I'm excited!
