I was happy to see these wonderful grapes waiting for me at the fruit section of this new grocery store that opened less then 12 months ago. THey were pretty large in size, but then the red/purple ones are so I didnt think anything of it.
When I got them home & later opened the bag to grab a handfull, I saw just how big they really were. 1 & 1/2 inches EACH? Also, each grape had FOUR small pits instead of one big one, like I was used to.
Let me tell you, I know there are a lot of ppl out there that would have just crunched the seeds down, but it wasnt appealing to me & these were NOT a good experience, having to do an operation on each one before they could be eaten.
MY POINT you dear patient ppl--- I think this grocery store is up to no good. Yes I think they all are (outside the health food places, of coarse) , but this grocery store also has bagged of cut/washed lettuce mixes that I SWEAR have been lasting for almost 2 solid weeks without even a corner of a brown leaf.
We are eating fruit/veggies that are chemically altered? I know the way they view supply/demand, but PPL- I think they are using things to help them grow TOO big... TOO fast???

I have learned that nature spends a great deal of TLC in each flower, fruit, veggies that is grown. Nothing can ever beat that.
I would rather a smaller version nature made herself with all the taste & nutrition, than a huge one that tastes so different & is loaded with God knows what that could be an even bigger problem for me in my life (future childrens' lives) down the line.
