I subscribe to a newsletter from the website called thegardendiet.com.The message I got today said that in california the almond board will be enforcing mandatory pasteurization laws for our "safety". Unless it gets overturned we won't be able to get any raw almonds from California, which would be a big blow to our community.In an added twist, they can still label the pasteurized almonds raw.If you go on the garden diet website you should be able to find a link to a petition to stop this.
