I'm a little confused. I'm just starting out, and am looking at the four week eating plan. I notice that there are recipes for Day 1, then Day 3 or 4.

But what about the other days?

Is the answer that the recipes make so much that they will last multiple days?

Am I supposed to pick other recipes?

I am supposed to eat simply the other five days of the week, and use the "recipe" days as treats?

Help! I can't find the answer in the book...

Thanks! Very excited to get going!

I believe you make all your recipes on the days indicated and they are intended to last the week. That way you aren't having to prepare and dehydrate food every day of the week.

I don't have the book in front of me, but perhaps I can help..

I believe the recipes you make on day one will carry you over to day two. The idea is to use the recipes as a guideline and make as much as you desire! They aren't set in stone. If you don't like tomatoes, for example, then choose a different recipe with items you might like. It's a fun period to try new things, and get a feel for working in the raw kitchen. You can absolutely pick other recipes to try as well.

The recipe days are not "treats" they are how you'll be eating!! (Exciting, eh?)

Mmm all of Alissa's recipes are really yummy. :)

Enjoy!!

one tip to save you time: 1/2 new recipes while you're getting the hang of it. It'll save you time and wasted food. Then once you learn what you like, make lots of it!! Also the banana ice cream is a savior those first few weeks.

I get it now...I think I was so excited I didn't get it...each day has two entrees to prepare. So you're only "cooking" two days a week. But making food for the whole seven days. That makes more sense. Thanks for the responses!

Correct. If you look up Show #2 on the homepage we actually explain that. :)

Or, look to the left to "Alissa's Live Radio Show" and click on the second show...
