I really want to keep doing this. It is day 6. Right now both my 6 yo and 1 yo are sick. I was up all night. And I'm fighting w/dh. When times are rough like this, I do turn to food for comfort. Any words of wisdom?

I think one good thing to do is to find some raw recipies that you like really much, and use that kind of food for comfort instead. I love strawberries with cashewnut-cream or macadamianuts with some salt and spices, as a snack.

And keep our thoughts, your inner voice, kind. Tell yourself to relax, breath deeply, and know that you will feel better the next day. Be kind to yourself, as you would be to a friend.

It will be alright :)

At times like that, I end up counting the hours or just go to bed. I try to sleep it off.

Comfort? Why turn to something that YOU think is going to damage you in the long run for comfort? Examine what you REALLY want. If you are uncomfortable....transition more slowly. Just my opinions.
