Fruit. Not really gourmet, but you can have it on the go, and it can fill you up.

I second that buttercup - fruit (strawberries, grapes, pineapple, etc.)

Next it would be chips and guacamole

My third pick is nuts (brazils, pecans, or cashews)

always have a nut pate in the fridge prepared ahead of time - so I just wrap in romain with sliced tomato and onion and/or some pickles

I have to have an apple and peanutbutter everyday! I am using organic natural peanutbutter right now until I can replace it with almond butter.

Bananas

Any fruit-grab and go!

Trail mix-my favorite is almonds and raisins but there are so many ways to vary this with different nuts and dried fruits

Not as quick but still something I make daily especially when I am in a hurry. Almond milk, a frozen banana (or not frozen banana!), sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg and blend. Put in a Mason jar and it travels easily too.

Do you have a dehydrator?

I love seasoned pumpkin and sunflower seeds.

Soak them overnight. Toss 'em in your favorite seasonings. (Some of our faves are Braggs/tamari, garlic powder and dill and Indian style: Braggs, a little cumin, curry powder and a dash of cayenne)

Dehydrate on mesh until really dry.

Also delicious on salads... Yummo!

I like whole red globe grapes pulled from a cluster and eaten fresh, raw, and simply. Rawlicious.

Sliced avocado sprinkled with herbamare and wrapped in seaweed. So good. A touch of agave is a great surprise that just works for my taste buds too.

Mmmmmmm. I WISH I were not in a hotel room in the moment but instead in my kitchen with the avocados that I know are sitting there ripe!! :)

The fastest one is to split a date in half and stick a walnut inside it. Or pack a ziplock bag with almonds, raisins, dates, goji berries etc.

1.popsicles made from smoothies and juices

2. kale chips (these are outstnading, but imo you need to be generous with the dressing)

3. "Cheezits " crackers--just made these yesterday. They are good, and very filling. Next time Ill add a serrano pepper or some cayenne.

4.mostly though, I snack on fruit or some leftovers

My favorite snack of late is pistachios and sunflower seeds. Not together, but one day I'll crave sunflower seeds and then the next pistachios...

Also a date with a Brazil nut inside is yum-oh!
