Some of you have posted that you are slowly building your home RAW book collection. I have found our local library to be a great source of RAW books.

Now, they don't carry Alissa's book, but our county carries about 20 other RAW books. Also, I did a materials request for Alissa's book and the book Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko. They aren't getting Alissa's book (yet), but actually purchased Green for Green for Life because they had a few other books by Victoria.

They way I figure it, the more people who bombard them with requests for Alissa's books, the better. Perhaps this will motivate them to purchase it!:)

I have read a few books from the library on raw foods. I really liked David Wolfe's and will purchase it when I get a chance. I have to get Alissa's first, but sadly I can't afford any books right now.

I was so happy that the library here has Alissa's book and DVDs. There was a bit of a wait to get it because so many people had it on hold. I most recently checked out "The Raw Life" by Paul Nison and "Rawvolution". They have a very nice selection of raw books; though I'm hoping they get "Green for Life" soon. Just gotta be patient.
