Flash back time. I went to Raw Portland Festival years ago. Cherie Soria's, CA chef, employee Cassandra was making things out of food. For example I remember seeing her make something out of diakon. I would to learn more. Can you make birds out of squash? What else are you doing with your food besides eating it? Playing with it? Anyone take Cassandra's class at Cherie's institute. Please give me the whole course here.

Can you imagine a "rawfood" bird landing on Carmella's chocolates?

Share books, videos, dvd, etc. information please.

Sounds like fun but I am SO not the raw chef. I am in the minority here... I could REALLY care less what my food looks like. I almost never garnish anything, I just mix it all up and eat it (that's why you NEVER see pics posted from me LOL). I am too lazy and just don't have the time to play with my food and make it look all nice. It takes long enough just to chop, puree, blend, slice etc...

I got the cutting, chopping part down to quick with my knife or food processor. It was quite a site to see a few sculptures this lady made. For a special dinner, it would dress up the dish , table and atmosphere. What a great conversation piece too.
