Hi,
I'm attempting for the first time to make the pizza crust using the calzone recipe. I'm wondering how long to dehydrate it and when to flip it? I'd imagine it has a dif. cooking time than the calzone. I just can't bring myself to search through the 20 pages of threads about pizza to find this. Thanks so much!

Hi V.Princess,
It varies, but I'd say roughly 4-6 hours and then check it to see if it can be flipped - you'll know because it will peel easily from the teflex. After flipping, I'd say roughly another 4-6 hours depending on how done you want it. I like mine to be good and done before I put my toppings on it as I like my toppings to be only slightly "warmed" but still more fresh-like and not dried up on the pizza.

Thank you Rawkinlocs - you're the expert!:D I'm so excited. I must have done something wierd though b/c it made two huge pizzas. Maybe the sprouts expanded too much or something...it filled up my whole large food processor. Oh well...more pizza for me!

Well, if you made the full version of the calzone crust as is in the recipe, then yeah it makes a lot as the calzone is pretty huge and pretty thick.
But that's cool, two large pizzas or about 4 smaller ones that you could freeze for later!
