they used to abhor they now almost crave? My entire life I have despised tomatoes. And now, I eat about one a day, though that's on the increase. Is it normal to start liking raw foods that we used to intensely dislike?
One of my favorite dishes right now is a bowl full of sliced avocado and roma tomatoes drenched with apple cider vinegar (raw of course) and cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. Sometimes a pinch of sea salt.
I'm eating some right now . . . yum . . .

Yes. My current example is green garbanzos. I have a weakness for chick peas and often it would be my SAD exception in a salad. When I first tried these I didn't care for them. Now I think they are great. I do find them expensive however. They are much costlier than the SAD canned ones and one must take the time to remove each individual one from its shell.

ME TOO! I was actually going to post a topic similar. For my entire life, I have hated ANYTHING that remotely resembles or tastes like grapefruit...in ANY form...like ewwwwww. Now, I eat one a day...and I crave the juicy sweet/tartness of them.

I used to hate avocados and bananas. Now I crave them. It's weird how that works. I remember being lacto-ovo veg for years and I hated peanut butter but once I turned vegan I craved it like mad!

I used to be quasi-anti carrots :p I would buy a bag of carrots and they would sit in my fridge for a long time till they got rubbery and bad
i never ate them much unless i had ranch on them or ate them cooked.
now a bag of carrots barely lasts a week in my house!

So this means there is hope that I may like peppers one day? Or (gag) broccoli?

I wish i could like Avacados. I keep trying them but they still taste the same. I did have a major change in garlic. I have posted this before. I love garlic but now it taste bitter no matter in what form I try to eat it. I miss it a lot.
I have noticed that other foods do taste better. I was eating a couple of grapefruits daily until I ran out. I have always loved tomatos but cannot eat them until i can get my psoriasis cleared up. It was always one of my favorite food to eat.....from right out of the garden to anything it was in. Love love love them.
Foods I always used to like I now love as it taste so much better.
