I was going home from work this afternoon and smelled something. I sniffed around and found it was the wisterias. This is the first time I've been able to smell them in at least three years. If I can smell that, what will the privets smell like?

unfortunately my newfound raw "scentsitivity" (great word, btw..) also allows for me to be the only one in the house that is able to tell when my brothers been smoking

Are you at it again, Pierre?
I laughed for three days over "hope we can be of cervix to you."

Nope - not talking about smelling someone's privet parts - I mean the bush in the olive family, whose panicles have tiny buds now. ;)

I have found the same thing!
But...it's not always good. I can smell bad smells more now too, unfortunately.
I also seem to be more sensitive to candles and perfumes -- things I used to find pleasant are now overwhelming and often annoying. Oy.

I went to a church function yesterday evening and got dizzy from the assault of perfurme around me. Nice to be reminded there will be a good flipside to this to. Happy for ya!

Today I was walking home from work and smelled what I thought was pear flowers. I had eaten three or four pears, so I thought that might be it. But no, the flowers don't smell like the fruit. It couldn't be pear flowers either, they've already fallen. So I followed my nose across the parking lot to a big bush. It belongs to the subfamily Maloideae, as does the pear, but I don't know its name. The flowers are about 10 mm in diameter, have five petals and a hypanthium, and are borne in panicles which look sort of umbelish. The fruit, IIRR, is about 4 to 6 mm in diameter. Do you know what it might be?
Now I know it's not an isolated incident but is statistically snifficant.

I've also found my "scentsitivity" to be much stronger!! Not only that, but I smell better too ;) No body odour here! I feel like my dogs ^^ I can smell a bear now in the woods!

Oh my gosh, today I was noticing that I smell better too! Plus I always have the scent of oranges and grapefruit on my hands (which I eat constantly). Who needs bath and body works when you have the real thing!
:p

LOL! That's a good one.

I have become much more sensitive to odors in recent weeks since going 100% raw. I can’t really report that I personally smell better as I’ve been eating a lot of onions and garlic and I think I can smell it on my skin.
