Last night I was watching Iron Chef and they hauled out a full, skinned goat. After I finished puking, I remarked to my husband that they really should do a raw food cook off. So get on that, wouldja? :)

I watched some of the show but since I have been Raw I have found my interest in cooking shows and most magazines has waned a lot. Has anyone else noticed this? Most magazines have so many Sad recipes and who wants to read all about it when doing Raw? My interest in tv has changed to remodeling homes. Big laugh here as no way could i do it but is better than watching Sad food being cooked. Even the Manic Organic cooks everything he eats. Well most everything.
I missed the whole goat thing. Must have been one of the many times I got up to do something.:D

Puffy I know what you mean! For me, cooking is sorta an art...so I still enjoy that aspect of cooking shows. But I'm certainly no longer sitting there drooling as I watch. Now I just think to myself "hrm - how would i make that as a raw dish?" -- more inspiration!

The goat thing is completely and utterly disgusting and cruel. I just cannot fathom why anyone would think that is okay. I know what you mean about magazines, etc...They are a let down to me now.

-I still love cooking shows and grocery stores! Ha! ha! These days its more like watching a cheap horror movie...or action movie! I just can't believe the stuff! It's like watching a slow train wreck in progress....LOL. Fascinating....horrifying....and I can't look away! ;)
