bumping up....

Nobody with Experiences?!

I think this has more nutrients than for example hempprotein,
because it is the whole seed :p

Never have eaten any kind of Hemp before, I have a sample pack of powder a friend gave me but I have never used it. So it sounds like I am missing out on something.........Thanks for Sharing.

I love my hempseed. Most frequently, I throw it into my smoothies for some additional protein and a nice nutty taste. I've also heard about people making hempseed milk.... haven't tried that (up until I found out I can order in bulk online, it was too expensive to waste that way...)

I've also thrown it into balls (both sweet and savory) and burgers. I just love the little buggers.

Fuzzy, do you first prepare the seeds in someway (soaking, milling), or do you throw them as they are (whole) in the smoothies?

I love hemp seeds. Made a mango, raspberry and hemp seed pudding for breakfast (all blended in the K tec). Ingredients:
2 mangos
1 1/2 cups raspberries
1/4 cup hemp seeds
About 1 cup of water

It is the most fluffy, pink and full bodied pudding imagineable.

Yummmm!

I am on the hemp seed as well these days and add them to my smoothie every morning. At first I was soaking them overnight but just had a feeling that the water I was trowing out in the morning looked as if it had a lot of goodness in it so I stopped the soaking.

Hello,

I recently bought 5 pounds of Nutiva's organic hemp seeds for only $30 at amazon.com(I think it's usually at least $50).

I love them so much and can't believe that I've never tried them before.

So far, I've made nut milk(soooo good) and RP's brownie's, substituting walnuts with them. Sooooo good.

I read in Dr. Gabriel's book that you don't have to soak them.

* Linda, do you have de hulled- or dehulled ones?
If you have the hulled, do you remove the shells somehow?
