Hi all,
I found organic date sugar on Amazon and it says the only ingredients are crushed organic dates. Could this be used in place of dates or other sweetners on a raw food diet-would it be considered raw? I am asking this for convenience sake and when fresh dates are difficult to find.
thanks,
Mary

Date sugar is nothing but dehydrated ground dates.
I have been using it for years.
Never thought of using it instead of dates, but I guess you could for some recipes. Have you tried putting a little water in a spoonful and letting it soak to see what happens?
