You need Alissa's book too to help you on this journey. That's a MUST have.

Lots of fresh stuff like basil, parsley, thyme, mint, and whatever else floats your boat. I toss that stuff into my green smoothies and cut some up to mix with everything. Keeps it interesting, and there must be extra something in that stuff because it makes me feel fuller with it mixed in.

Have fun seeing a bright, colorful, alive looking fridge when you get back!

Greens. Lots and lots of greens. As far as I’m concerned, everything else is window dressing.

Romaine Lettuce
Loose Red Leaf Lettuce
Loose Green Leaf Lettuce
Spinach
Collards
Kale
Turnip greens
Beet greens
Bok Choy
Celery
Cilantro
Mint
Sprouts

I aim for about a pound of greens per day, blended into green smoothies. Mostly lettuce, but I mix it up now and then.
