Raw Squash, not Squash Raw, or Squash, Raw

Ok, I tried my "Golden Nugget" Squash...WONDERFUL!!! It is very firm and crunchy and slightly sweet. I love it! I wonder why people ever started cooking squash, this tastes so amazing raw!

Oooh Smasty it does look nice, how did you eat it?
I would love one of those spiral slicers to make squash spaghetti, i've had butternut squash raw and it's nice, totally different to cooked, I think cooking them brings out the sugars a lot.

My 1st raw Christmas I made a rainbow salad with grated squash and beet etc etc and it looked FANTASTIC!

I diced it. It tastes like bland carrots I decided. It would make a really good carrot cake. I think spiral slicing it would be wonderful.

Hey cool I just picked up one of those squashes from the market this morning but I haven't tried it yet. I had no idea what kind of squash it was but I was drawn by the bright orange color. I'm glad to hear someone else has eaten it raw and that it tastes good!
