What do you think of fresh carrot juice and bananas blended in my Vita-Mix in terms of proper food combining? Is this going to be a gastronomical misadventure in my guts?

When I make things into smoothies, I seem much more able to bend the rules of food combining. Trt it and see! Probably wouldn't be too bad..and it sounds yummy!

Carrot juice makes smoothies so creamy and delicious! And sweet and fresh. I do this often... I don't pay much attention to food combining rules either though. If you feel good after drinking it, no problem :)

I almost always use carrot juice as a base for smoothies and I've never had a problem. I think you'll be ok. I don't bother with food combining rules.
I just had a smoothie with carrots combined with 2 oranges, an apple, kale, chard, and mint leaves. I have carrots with bananas and everything else sometimes too. Worst case scenario, I know that my body has a little something to digest!
I agree that food combining seems to be a little more flexible with smoothies.
