Glue?

Anyone else find that the young coconuts smell like glue? A friend from work got some for me and I opened it up and the inside smells almost like Elmer's. Last time I got a coconut I threw it out because it didn't seem right for it to smell that way. Is that normal? Do I just need to get used to it?

LOL...well, I always said that they smell like "feet" to me! Kinda like, old, sweaty gym socks or something and I KNOW it wasn't a "bad" one 'cause every single one I've ever had smells that way to me even the ones everyone were raving over at Au Lac when I went back in 2005...kind of a nutty-footy smell...best way I can describe it.

Cilantro tasted like soap in my mouth at first. Now I love it and don't know where the soap taste went. Don't have any problem with healthy coconuts though. No need to force yourself to adapt to it.
