Excited!!!

:D :D I have been researching the idea of Raw for a few years, experimenting for the last few months and I am ready to do it full force. I just feel it deep down this is the way we are meant to eat, just thinking about living this lifestyle is filling me with excitement I can't even describe! So today I ordered Virgin Oil De Coco-Crème 16 oz Jar,Cacao Powder (Raw, Organic) 1 lb,Org. Raw Peppermint Truffles, 5.5 oz. ,DVD and Book,Spiral Slicer ,Excalibur Dehydrator (5-Tray) + 4 non-stick sheets and I got my mom to buy me the Vitamix in exchange for making her green smoothies. My mom has cancer and I am trying to lead her healthier "treatments". I hope I am better at uncooking then cooking though. :p I live in a very raw unfriendly place so I hope maybe I can make a business out of this eventually and spread the word. I will be looking to you wonderful people for support as I do my best to make this work for myself and my kids. And I hope that in the future I will be able to be the one giving support.:)

Your enthusiasm is very inspiring, I'm sure you'll do wonderfully!

I was a horrible cook on sad, but am happy to say I've had many uncooking successes so far! There's hope, believe me! :D With your enthusiasm for raw, it will come out in your food prep too!

I have spen some time as a vegan in Wisconsin....during the eighties and early 90's. Though it's tough, it can be done! At keast the farmers' markets and orchard fruits are readily available!

You are giving yourself and your mother such an amazing gift. Raw was the best thing I have ever done for myself and ,Alissa's well written book is the best support I have seen. Best wishes and many blessings on your new journey.....we are all here for you!

So happy you're here! :D That's a beautiful gift you're giving your mom (and a wonderful exchange), and should help in her recovery.

I've been 100% raw for 22 days and very happy and very energized, and I'm living almost exclusively on green smoothies, so I can recommend them highly. :p
