I'm doing that candida cleanse (I know, I know, all raw is sapposed to do the trick...but, this is that way I'm going about it :) ) and am in need of some recipe ideas that don't use sugar (fruit, agave, honey etc..).
I've been living off of salads - love em... but need a little variety.
I'm planning on going through my books tonight but thought I'd ask those of you with experience in this area.
Much appreciated!

Can you use dates? Or no dates either?

Cries... :( , no dates. No sugar whatsoever. No food that turns into sugar once inside the body either.
I've been gorgin on salad and almond milk (sans sweetner).
I'm thinking about whiping up some guacamole tomorrow though.

There are PLENTY of savory recipes posted in this forum and in any raw recipe books you own. The only recipes that would probably have "sugar" in them are the desserts. So, there is a plethora of recipes to choose from...just no dessert! And if a recipe DOES have dates in it (i.e. Alissa's marinara sauce) simply omit the dates. I mean, just peruse through that "Recipes/Photos Only" thread for LOADS of inspiration - many of the recipes have been posted or at least the source of them.

Welll.... I'm going to go through my books tonight after I can pry myself away from the computer and see what I can come up with.
I have been living off of salads with ranch dressing (raw), almond milk and green juices the last two days. This stuff is GOOD, but I'm thinking of expanding my sugarless horizons tomorrow

Yeah, you got lots to choose from: Collard wraps (with ANY veggies of choice, pate', etc); red peppers or tomatoes stuffed with guac or pate', salsa with veggies or crackers dipped in or a cheeze sauce with veggies or crackers...
I don't know if you do dehydrated stuff or not or if you use things like nama shoyu, but if so that's a whole other world with all those types of recipes. Are fruits and sweeteners the only things you are avoiding?

I've been avoiding my dehydrator as I think it overheats - no temp control. I'm waiting for Alyssa's.
Rawkinlocks' ~ you are right, I looked through my books last night and there is a TON of stuff I can make.
I'm making raw meatballs, zuchhini noodles and tomato sauce for lunch... YUM!
Thanks for the help!

I am really liking this salad. I add some new ingredients last night and it was tasty.
1 zucchinni- thinly sliced
1 cucumber- chunked
3 broccoli crowns- blended fine in food processor
purple cabbage, cilantro, fresh basil and some lemon juice- blended fine in food proccesor
Add all ingredients in bowl and enjoy
You can also add other veggies, avocado, nuts, tomatoes.

Thanks for all the ideas.
Solarliving - I've been making a salad very similar too this for the last couple days. Love it!
EYB - Sounds yummy... maybe I'll try that tomorrow.
What I did make today, though, was simply AMMMAAAZZIINNGGG... :D
Sun garden burgers
topped with creamy avocado
topped that with tomato sauce and sliced red pepper
I had three!
I have 7 more in the dehydrator right now. My daughter thinks it tastes like her soy chicken nuggets (I'm trying to find a good raw alternative for those things... I think I've found it... !!!!).
