Maraw's cashew salad and stuff little sweet peppers with it.
YUM!
It would also be great in crispy celery or wrapped in a leaf.
Very meaty and satisfying!

Hey there. Yep! It's on page 360. Curried Yam Bisque.
Unfortunately, I have a cheap blender/food processor - so it's not 100% smooth. But I just stuck my finger in it as I put it in the fridge. WOW, is that tasty. =)

Today I made Flax crackers, banana bread, hummus, guacamole, a huge salad for the next couple of days and my first green drink (kale, spinich, banana, cantaploue).
I feel that I can manage this and just keep it steady with one or two thing a day. I do not have to make everything all at once.though it sounds like fun.
I want ot get the nerve to try a soup. Soup has never been one of my avorites but I think I can try it.
Have a great day.
gave away the last of the girl scout cookies today.

Well, I would... but (head hung in shame) - it's not raw. It's Nayonaise (soy based) with some dijion mustard and pickles. But Alissa has a mayo recipe in her book that you could easily use instead! (don't have it with me at the office, but...)

Sprouted Millet Matzo. Getting a head start on Pesach
Broccoli and cheese sauce - was OK but I left it in the dehydrator too long :(

I made date nut torte. So silly of me, I threw everything in the f.p. instead of making the frosting seperate. Wasnt even thinking. It tastes the same, but looks funny! I guess thats the good thing about raw food, it doesn't matter!

Oh my. Yum. I took a friend to a fav. veggie restaurant not long ago and they have Kofta balls.... she was hooked immediately and bought another entree of it to go. She's also the friend who is as interested in raw as I am....
So.....
Can you share the source (if published) and/or the recipe (if you made it up)?
Thank you!!

Well, I got to enjoy the fruits of my labor from previous days. It was worth taking the time to sprout buckwheat for the calzone recipe. It was like eating something "normal"!
Also made almond milk for my apple cereal that is a staple in my Raw diet.
This is a fun thread!

Well today was Chocolateland around here! lol I've been trying a bunch of recipes for a post on celebrating Easter 'in the Raw'.
Everything looked soooo good, can hardly wait to try them!
Here's what I've been up to...
-Jocelyn's Choc-onut Brownies
- 2 or 3 different kinds of truffles
- Turtles
- And a bunch of different tarts: Chocolate Cream, Caramel (Turtle), Chocolate - Vanilla Custard...
Am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah, and strawberries dipped in chocolate.
Don't think I've ever made so many decadent-looking goodies all at once! lol
