I did an orange smoothies with bananas and added a part of a leaf of aloe vera after i peeled it.
It tasted so good, even my husband liked it but he worried about the combination.

Many do... just make sure it's always peeled. A friend of mine starting tossing in the leaf with the green skin and it upset her stomach quite badly. A naturopath friend confirmed the skin is not something you want to eat. The gel is great though and also high in ormus... another discussion entirely!

And skip also the yellow part, it quickens your BM's to much.
That what I read. Can anyone confirm if the gel has a yellow part?

Hi,
Shazzie uses aloe vera juice in one of her shakes. Check out her books for the recipe.

They sell the juice in stores but if you have ever harvested it yourself you will wonder how they get it to keep in the containers. It is known for skin relief for sunburn but it stinks to high heaven when you use it. (Or when we do anyway) It is bland but when combined with human skin - very musky but not pleasant musk.

I add it to my smoothies. It is so easy to grow that I had too much so I had to start using it up.

I shop at a fruit market that has a lot of mexican veggies and they sell the huge leaves, long and thick so i know we won't run out.
I love the way they heal themselves when you cut off a piece, it's neat to see:D

I know the juice is good for stomach issues, right? So is this the same for the "gel" on the inside? What is it good for exactly?

I'm curious. What are the benefits of using aloe vera internally?
