Sooo.... I hurt my knee a week or two ago :(
Can't remember doing anything in particular.. just stood up and it tweaked and started hurting and giving out. I had to stop my Tae Bo and now I feel like I"m putting on weight from inactivity. I need to get moving!

Today I sold some expensive clotheshangers and made a little cash. So I went to the store and bought an inexpensive rebounder, a 5 pound weighted ball, and a big yoga ball. I ordered a used book called 8 Minutes in the Morning to a Flat Belly by Jorge Cruise. I saw this book when I was housesitting last weekend and liked it because the exercises start out very easy and seated, using the weighted ball. He gives you day by day instructions.

Today when I was shopping at Goodwill, I found ANOTHER of his books for $5 so I bought it too.

The diet he suggests is not RAW but I'll just ignore the diet portion.

In addition, I'm going to gently rebound before working out.

OK.. so that's my plan, Stan! I just had to say it out loud so I'll do it.
I'm sad, b/c I miss Tae Bo, but maybe in a few weeks I can do it again.

I"m actually combining the two book workouts for a 30 minute workout total each day.

Has anyone used this Jorge Cruise method? It looks pretty good.

I have a relative who realy likes his program. Seems very managable and customizable.

Pilates mat work is also a good way to stay toned when you body needs a little rest from vigorous activity. I like the Jennifer Kries videos.

Boy am I a real couch potato! 90% of everything in this section is Greek to me. Maybe I should hit the gym, do some yoga, or get into pilates...

Get well soon,

Hope you Enjoy it....It is always Good to Cross-Train, so just consider this time, Cross-Training. I would still watch the Tae-Bo tape as not to forget my Moves.
