IS all cocoa powder raw? I am guessing not. Where do I find it?

Raw cocoa nibs- what is the purpose, how do I use them? grind them?

Thank you for all your help. I am anxious to try new things.

today is apple crumb, banana cream pie, and mock tuna.

Sunday enchiladas.

Cacao nibs are little bits of the cacao bean broken into small pieces. They can be ground in a coffee grinder to make them more powder-like. There is also raw cacao powder, which is ground much finer - more like a traditional powder. I sell some on my site and I know others do as well.

Most commercial ground cocoa powder is roasted - carob too. Make sure it says "raw" on the label. And if it doesn't, call the company to check. I know many people here, including myself do that on a regular basis.

Hope this helps some!
