Does anyone know where to go online to order Raw Dried Tomatoes? We don't have enough room in the Dehy to dry tomatoes with all the other stuff we are making.

My favorite source is SunOrganic.
They do not add salt and dry them at low temperatures, from what I have read. There web address is:

I'm giving sd tomatoes one more shot. I've ordered some from "Raw from the Farm" (upon the suggestion in Miss Linda's siggy - "Thank you Miss Linda" :)

Rawcreator, you are so welcome........curious, what did you order?

Veganman, my SAD sister got curious of the box as I told her you are a rawfoodist and work with farms to provide TRUE raw stuff and so when I was gone, she snacked on some figs and apricots which is rare of her !!!! She said the APRICOTS are sooooooooooooooooooooo delicious.

The calaymria figs she tried as soooooooooooo soft and plump!. I grabbed the box and told her that those are for ME when I fnish my fast!:mad: Looks like I'll be ordering again soon my friend!:)

Can you buy any of these raw sundried tomatoes in the health food stores? I to have to depend on ordering on-line so often.

I wouldn't trust anywhere you buy until you ask them if they know for sure about the temperatures they are dried at.

I ended up getting some from Sun Organics. They are very very good. I emailed them about temps and here is what they said...

"Hello;
The sun dried tomatoes are initially sun dried and then in order to avoid the necessity of adding salt are tunnel dried at approx. 140F.

I read somewhere that Ann Wigmore did a test and found that if they were dried at low temps and they switched to a slightly higher temp after they were dry it wouldn't effect the enzymes. So, I decided to go with them...cause the other ones were a bit more expensive.

The quality of these tomatoes was great. I would buy from them again.

Sun Organics are very nice and also, very affordable :)
