this may have been asked before, but is all wine raw or just organic wine?

If you put the two key words wine & raw into the search machine-( press the banana above), you will find a bunch of old discussions about this topic.

FWIW, from what I have read it seems that most wine is not heated, it is fermented.
If it is a cheap wine, it could be made from a concentrate in large batches- which would mean it was cooked.

Organic wine is usually made without sulphites which is a good thing.
Personally, I don't drink wine anymore.

But I Love a yummy smoothie!:p

mind altering substances are baad. if you are searching for a high, do some meditation and excersise. plus you wont do anything that you wouldnt normally do:)

Just some ideas on something that i have wondered about before....

I was wondering this before and this post brought it back to mind... the question of whether or not, when a poster is asking a specific question, does that "open the door" for criticism that really has nothing to do with the specific question being asked??

there are all kinds of sensitive and personal issues being exposed on the site..things which make us potentially vulnerable to attacks or judgements, and I wonder if it is not better to, unless someone specifically asks for opinions as to the appropriateness or "goodness/badness" of some issue, just to respond to the question being asked??


There are times when I have thought of posting something, but did not want to get drawn into a dispute, or even deal with a "negative" response, so did not post it, since I realize that some kinds of questions almost "invite" criticism from (some)people sometime...

maybe this is not an issue for anyone else... I just thought I would offer it as something to think about...

also..some people think wine is actually good for us. I am not sure if they still sell it, but rawfood.com sells/sold Raw antioxidant wine.

you have a good point. i wasnt trying to criticize. what i should have said is my highs come from meditation, excersise, and the wonderful raw food i eat.
any time since that i have had any alcohol i have felt very sluggish and not in touch with my body at all, which is weird cuz before i would get this energy rush, but i guesss that at that point in my life my natural state of being was quite sluggish, compared to the boundless energy i have now.

I agree..for me, for the most part, I feel better when I do not drink even wine, but I have heard some people who are Raw say that they drink wine and are not bothered by it..and actually feel it is good for them. Maybe I over-reacted a bit..if so, I apologize.... :-)
