Ahhhhh... monkeyboy... Always to be counted on for a spark of deep soul-searching...
Well... I've been thinking about this... And obviously I want to continue on 100% raw and never stop. I'm on Day 25 and it's been an interesting journey. Just when I think I've kicked the SAD cravings, one creeps up unexpectedly. The other day when I got a very strong urge to eat some SAD food that someone beside me was eating, I told myself I can "have it after my challenge" and though I don't really want to tell myself that, it was the only thing I could think of at the time to immediately get my mind of wanting whatever it was. But, it seems to be getting easier...
Sooooo... after my 30-Day challenge, I think I'll go straight into a "lifetime challenge"...
What do you think??

RawFoodieMom I think that's awesome that you're going to try to make it a lifestlye.
I'm taking baby steps but hopefully will be raw for life. I'm on day 28 and after my 30 day challenge I'm going right into another one. I'm going to take it month by month.

Eating Living Foods is a permanent lifestyle change for me.
But I am taking it one day at a time. So I will probably do another 30 day challenge for support and accountability here. It is really helpful to be able to give and receive encouragement with the kind folks on this fourm.

Boy how time goes by MB...........I always think about the "Macy's Float." :D
The first 30 day challenge I ever did, 30 days goes by so quick that it was hard envision ending raw........keep coming back for more. :)

:D I am hopeing I can continue with this. I am mostly doing it to clear up my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Both r much better and I know my psoriasis would be better yet if I had not gotten sick over a week ago. Sick puts toxins in the body and also stresses a person out and it cause ps to get worse. My ps stopped where it was at and in fact it got a little redder but not as bad as it used to so now I know i have to continue doing Raw to see how long it is going to take to clear up. I have a online friend who keeps harping at me that it is not healthy. I sent her the info that somone posted on how much protein one gets in veggies daily. I then sent her another email telling her how last summer I wore a sheer long sleeve shirt over another top due to being embarrassed. No matter how hot it was.
She has told me many times she is vain so i sent her a picture of my left leg with before pic and now pic so she can see what i have been living with. I know i can clear this up with medication but they all have major risk and I already went through one of them and lost a lot of hair which has not come back. Thin hair is also embarrasing no matter if one is a man or woman.
I know this will work. A young woman in Alissas book gave testimony to her ps clearing up eating Raw. It is not going to happen overnight but I sure would love to have it gone by summer.
So my answer to the what will i do? Another challenge for April might be a good thing to do. it keeps me on the straight and narrow and great tasting foods.:D
