I've heard of fasting on apples, but just curious, does anyone know if it's safe to fast on cranberry juice?

I am sure it is safe, although I think its natural bitterness would limit the amount most people would take at one time, unless they were doing it for specifically therapeutic reasons, like urinary tract health. I do not think I would want to drink it alone..but I have read of people mixing it with other juices.and was thinking of doing it a while back, but forgot about it. :-) You reminded me...and now I will have to get the cranberries to make some yummy raw apple cranberry juice.

It sounds so refreshing to me right now!! :D

Good to know; thanks, everyone. Reason I asked is because I know I won't drink too much cranberry juice whereas on a fast with other juices I'd drink too much and then feel jittery after all the sugar. Turns out I only ended up finishing a cup and a half of it yesterday, and I prepared about that much to take with me throughout the day today. The rest is water, and I feel great.

I was reading in your post that you drink the cranberry straight. I have never tried that, although I know it is very good for you. I am going to get some cranberries and give it a try...:D

Warning...it's a bit bitter if you're not used to it. But cranberries are easily one of my favorite foods.
