View Full Version : Ouch!

For the past couple of weeks, I've been sick. My head feels heavy like lead and have been sleeping a lot more than I should. I feel a throbbing right on the bridge of my nose, under me eye.
My tonsils have been bugging me for about as long as my sinuses. I feel as if I'm constantly swallowing something.
I am in the process of getting Medicaid (which can take 30 days or more to get approved). The nearest emergency room is 16 miles away (no kidding:eek:). Until I get approved, I need to find a natural remedy to get rid of these symptoms...and the disease.

Iíve found raw garlic to be helpful with recurring bouts of tonsillitis. Feel better soon.

You DO NOT get rid of symtomology. This is your bodies feedback mechanism! Do not short-circuit it! You allow these symptoms and rest and light fast and light exercise and pure water and juices until you have moved into the feelings and physical symptoms fully and released those pent-up energies. If symptomology is to severe...you regulate your own detox by eating heavier foods....or going back to a heavier food lifestyle that is comfortable for you.

My sinuses are so stuffed that I have this feeling on being a bit off-balance. I've been taking over-the-counter meds, but they're not helping.
I haven't been completely raw and I barely drink water () which is probably the reason why I'm having these issues. The water where I live at is chlorinated...makes me very ill.
I stopped oil pulling for a while...and things went downhill from there. I also had another SAD attack (gorged on anything with meat in it) and promptly got sick the next day.
Proves that being 100% raw is best. I don't want to give Big Pharma any of my money:D. I can treat my problems without THEIR help.

With a sinus infection, drinking lots of water is essential. You should also use hot packs on your face.

Whenever I get sinus pressure, I drink one of Alissa's Lemon Ginger Cayene Shots (page 536).
Woooweeeee!!! That stuff will clean ya out!

I think I may be severely dehydrated, too. My skin has been very dry, coated tongue, dizziness and restlessness. I tried going to a clinic, but they want money upfront since I am not approved for Medicaid yet.

Don't worry, you are just detoxing. You should try to eat lightly and rest as much as possible while you aren't feeling well. And of course, in the future, stay away from cooked food! :-)
I hope you feel better very soon!
Wishing you all the best,
