I tried this today and it turned out really good...just shred all these veggies (I used a food processor shredding blade so it went quicker):
1/4 medium head of cabbage
very small yellow onion
1/2 head brocolli
1/2 head cauliflour
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
3 small carrots
Then grind 1/2 cup macadamia nuts in a blender or food processor, add juice of one small lemon, 1/4 cup olive oil, sea salt to taste and 1/2 teaspoon of white pepper. Pour this sauce over the veggies and toss. It was yummy. I was really craving veggies today.
This recipe is called Rainbow veggie slaw...it is on page 68 of the complete book of raw food. I halved the recipe cause all the stuff would never have fit in a normal size food processor! Enjoy!

Thanks for the recipe. I will certainly try it.
I thinly sliced up the cabbage and put it in a plastic bag with brewer's yeast and kneaded it for awhile and chopped up some red peppers, tomatoes and green onions. I put it in a bowl with sliced avocadoes and dressing, i added golden raisins to mine but now for my husband and SUPRISE he loved it.
I wish i had seen your recipe first but i will make it tomorrow, thanks again for coming to the rescue:) :) .

I have a green and red cabbage (along with some onion, garlic, peppers, broccoli, etc.) I think I am going to use some of the green cabbage with the veggies and make a wrap and turn them into spring rolls. I'm going to look up Alissa's wrap recipee in my book.

I just like eating cabbage plain in hug pieces that I crunch on. takes away my desire for crunhy junk food;) , It's also very sweet this way too!

I love it the same way that LifeAGift Mentioned! I ate half a head of cabbage this way the other night. Its also really good shredded up with wakame for a crunchy salad thing
