I thought I'd better start a new thread for this, the other was getting pretty long!

Plan for the day...

Grapefruit

Smoothie-coconut water, banana, mango, spinach, cinnamon

Salad-greens, cabbage, carrots, peas, raisins, Balsamic vinegar
Flax crackers

Smoothie-almond mylk, banana, orange, cinnamon, nutmeg, dates

Apple with almond butter

So far I've eaten 2 pancakes with agave and an almond mylk smoothie with frozen 'naners, goji berries, dates and spirulina.
I'm getting ready to eat two clementines (my darling).
For lunch I'll have the raw deviled egg "egg-less" spread with celery cut up in it in romaine leaf wraps and sprouts.
Dinner I'll do another smoothie and the bbq chick-un fingers and tomato and sprouts.
Not sure what else...

ooooo, everything soounds so good! I had a glass of OJ w/ msm and im now starting a smoothie. Later i will eat apples, i am starting a apple fast today and ending on thursday nite.

I've had 2 blended oranges and a Flax cracker, and a couple bites of drying veggies out the dehydrator :)

But it's only 9:00AM. :)

This is my eating menu for today

Today so far I've had:

-1 cup blackberries
-smoothie: 2 cups chard, banana, 2 tbsp. flax seed

For the lunch/snacks, I'll be having:

-handfull of walnuts
-5 dates
-smoothie: 2 cups chard, 2 pears
-2 cups cherry tomatoes
-1 cucumber

I'm not sure about dinner quite yet...

For breakfast I made a juice for me an my husband:

1 grapefruit
1 orange
2 little granny smith apples

Yesterday was a Rocking Raw day: a green smoothie with collards, pineapple, frozen bananas, green apple, milk and meat of a baby white coconut with a squirt of agave and Singing Dog Vanilla extract added in (yes, aren't I good to myself!).
Lunch was a jicama salad (my very first ever), the recipe out of Allisa's book.
And dinner was my first batch of flax crackers (interesting) loaded up with a leftover nut page, then some guacamole and some sauerkraut on top. Oh, my goodness, yummy! Very satisfying day eating and went to bed feeling peaceful and good about myself.

I am absolutely ravenous today...I've had:

1 pear
HUGE bunch of green grapes (breakfast)
snack was an apple/banana/peach smoothie
Lunch was a salad with spinach, broccoli, asperagus and sprouted quinoa with braggs and lemon...AND 3 pieces of Rawvolution's onion bread AND a larabar.

I have no clue where this food is going...I'm 5'1 and 112 lbs!! and trust me, I could keep eating...its scary.

oh and i've had 1.5 L's of water so far

HAHA I'm going for a colonic tonight, at least everything I'm stuffing myself with will be gone soon...juice fast starts thursday. :)

I used my new juicer for the 6th time in two days.
Banana,strawberry,peach,pineapple

hand full of mixed nuts

Made salad in a glass for dinner last night and saved the solids for lunch today with lemon juice ( Baby spring mix lettuce, spinich,carrot,tomato,radish)

Do not know about dinner tonight.

I have only been at this two days and I am full. But not just my belly, my mood is calm and my feeling is ligthened.

My book is on the way and I can not wait.

too many dates like 5 or 6, a tangerine

homemade applesauce with vanilla and cinnamon came out so good
1 banana

making date paste for smoothies one from raw restraunt- apples,strawberries, blueberries,raspberries,banana, and date paste tooo good

dinner probably green smoothie and a sea weed salad with my sesame dressing- raw rice vinegar, seasame oil, toasted sesame oil-i know but a little wont hurt, ginger, raw garlic powder

Today I will eat things as they come out f the ground. No prep, no mess, no hassle.

Banana, cucumber,apple,nuts,seeds,dates,carrots,lettuce,ce lery,spinich and any other veggie or fruit that I come across.

Yesterday I got a big headache and gave in with girl scout cookies. Stopped the headache and I woke up with a tummy full ache today.

So today is peaceful and calm just eat naturally. Yes I do wash the fruits and veggies.

30 day goal of raw and then hubby and I are going to our first Raw restaurant. He is going to be really brave. I am sooo sooo excited. Today is day 1. ( could have been day 3 with out the cookies.)

snack: red bell pebber (1/2 avo + sundried tomato seasoning)
two almonds..
dinner...
dunno yet. no really hungry.

dinner: pesto stuffed mushrooms, a Lara bar and fresh-squeezed apple juice

snack: chocalate mousse What?! yeah, the Alissa recipe with avocado-thumbs up

Orange/grapefruit juice

Porridge-Rawkinlocs recipe! Soaked oat groats and a date, Vitamix till smooth and add cinnamon, then added raisins and an apple and blended just a bit more to leave the apple chunky. And a few blueberries on top!

Carrot rice over a green salad (Carrot rice-carrots, pinenuts, agave, rice wine vinegar in the food processor)

Green smoothie-romaine, bananas, dates, strawberries, blackberries, cinnamon

Chocolate coconut pudding with cherries

-attempted sandwhich with avacado, tomato, lettuce, pesto and sprouted whole wheat crackers.... didn't work. So I ate it all with my hands

This is my first time posting what I ate today! I feel more comfortable doing this now that I am mostly raw

Breakfast: big smoothie (a variation of sarma's cilantro shake) which had pineapple, bananas, cilantro, kiwi, maca, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice and green powder. It was awesome!

Lunch: Raw kung pao (I got this from Trinity08...) with a few changes, it had portabello mushrooms, green and red peppers, marinated in sesame oil, nama shoyu, ginger, garlic, red chilis, and chopped almonds

snacks: radishes with lemon juice and apples

dinner: planning on carrots alongside a big salad with oranges and pecans

Brunch: home dehydrated banana chips cut in half w/ scissors in bowl, with raisins, soaked/dehydrated walnut pieces, one apple chopped up with almond milk, honey, vanilla extract- yum!

snack:banana, soaked/dehydrated nuts

Dinner: carrot/flax crackers seasoned with taco seasonings (highly recommend 'em in flax crackers) with guac on top. carrot pulp from juicing with nut cheese, more avocado stuffed into 2 collard leaves. strawberries dipped in carob sauce.

This is a satisfying lifestyle!

this morning I had, small glass of fresh tangerine/orange juice, late morning had a green smoothie with 2 bananas/handful of frozen strawberries, small hunk of ginger/parsley/spinach/celery/sunflower seed milk. Very filling. Later today will have large salad, and maybe late late today another small glass of OJ.

Oh yes and it is wonderful! Thank you to Rawkinlocs for emailing the recipe to me this morning because I couldn't find it in my raw recipe files. Here it is!

Here's a KFC coleslaw imitation. Haven't tried it yet, heard it's good (KFC is my favorite type of coleslaw, sweet but with a slight vinegar taste).

Pkg of coleslaw mix (or shredded cabbage, red cabbage, carrots)
2 TBS minced onion (opt)
1/2 C raw mayo
1/3 C honey
4 TBS lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C raw almond milk

mix wet ingred in lg bowl. add coleslaw and and toss well. chill overnight (this makes the flavors soak in).

Raw Mayo

1 cup raw cashews
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
2-3 soft dates, pitted
1 teaspoon Celtic salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup olive oil

1. Puree all ingredients, except oil, in food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
2. While continuing to blend, add oil in a steady stream, until emulsified.
3. Store in a tightly sealed container the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

3 pieces of flax wraps with raw pesto

I was doing good till I ate the flax with the pesto. I over-ate and took a nap shortly thereafter. Today was a lesson for not eating too much fat.

waaaay too much food today

Breakfast: handful of almonds, apple
lunch: 2 collard wraps (really one, but split into 2)
snack: veggies (4 stalks celery, baby carrots, couple broccoli florets) with mock salmon pate, a few flax seed crackers
dinner: pad thai..yuuuummmmmmm
snack: ends of zucchini from sprializer, a spoonful of pad thai sause, a couple flax crackers

It's such a good feeling to do a 100% Raw day
breakfast: green smoothie- with frozen bananas, an apple, mango and collards
Lunch: dehydrated corn chips with guacamole thinned with lots of lime juice, topped with shredded lettuce
Dinner: the same, it was so good
snack: dates stuffed with walnuts
and fresh grapefruit juice

Lunch: 1 avacado, 1/2 tomatoe, lemon juice, cumin, (process) and ate with carrot stix.
Dinner: Made egg-less salad, on a bed of lettuce, with sliced tomatoes, avacado, red bell peppers.
Dessert: Not Peanut Butter Balls from Alissa's book......so YUMMY!!!:p

I love seeing what others are eating, it gives me new and yummy ideas to add to my menus!

Today is Sunday and will be a liquid day for me. I find it to be so cleansing, easy to digest, and easy on my TMJ jaw!

Carrot based juice with apple, spinach, and celery

Smoothie-1 quart of green smoothie, banana, blueberries, romaine

Orange/grapefruit juice

Almond shake-almond milk, banana, strawberries, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg

Soup-tomato based

That should do it for me today!

I forgot to finish mine yesterday. so here is today thus far...

*1 Orange
*Green Smoothie-(5 big bananas, about 13 cups kale)
*Large Apple and 3 kumquats, oh and a few handfulls of my sister's blueberries!
*Green Applesauce-(3 large apples, 7.5 cups red swiss chard, 2 cups kale)
*4 Clementines and 3 pears
*Cucumber and Tomato, then
about 6 cups Cabbage with the last of my wakame :(
followed by about 2+ cups of peas!(my love)
*about .5+ cup pecans

romaine salad with cucumbers,tomatoes, raw olives, and raw ranch.

Haven't eaten dinner yet, but planning on eating a fuji apple for snack ,and another salad for dinner.

hehehhe thanks SalsaBaby :) Now that you mention it...my leafy green/vegetable intake has increased tremendously (naturally...I mean I just started wanting more greens without even thinking about it) and now it seems I get double the calcium I need daily plus my bones are starting to feel better and my face seems to be becoming much less blotchy and seemingly less pimples? It's not like I have a lot of pimples but enough to notice less. Of course, these things could be caused by a number of factors, but greens probably at least have a part in it. :)

today was something like
*Strawberries (1 cup?) and
Green Smoothie-5 large bananas and like 13 or so cups dandelion greens
*Grapes-4 cups
*Green Applesauce-4 good sized apples, about 7-8 cups red swiss chard, 2 cups kale)
*4 Clementines, 1 big uniq fruit (it was like 50 cents!)
*some cucumber and tomatoes
*Asparagus (3+ cups)
Cabbage (6 or 7 or so cups)
Sprouted Peas (about 1.2 cups)
*Coconut Butter-maybe 4 TBSP? Probably a bit more?

I've been feeling really bloated just at night. I think because I try to stuff a bunch of different things in all on top of eachother while I eat mostly mono like during the day (beside the simple smoothies.) Any ideas/help/suggestions of how I can fix this with the foods I have yet still get enough in me? If I don't gain weight it's adios to me...and thus far I haven't even been gaining on this much food!

Today - as of 230 PM

Breakfast - 1 med grapefruit
Lunch - salad w/ various greens, cauliflower, broccoli, sugar snap peas, green beans, kholrabi slices, anise slices, 1/4 avocado, and 2 tbs of hemp hearts (about 2 cups in size total)
snack - OLIVES!! - went to WF and got a small tub (1 cup? maybe 2?) of mixed olives and ate them ALL!
Dinner - Day 1 of week 2 of Alissa's 4 week challenge - going to make the spaghetti and marinara and the mock tuna salad tonight - I think I will have some of the tuna on another salad...if I'm hungry - I'm pretty full now after those olives lol
1.5 L of water so far...

Wouldnt eating a lot of nuts help u to put weight on? It seems like u r eating enough food to gain weight but Raw is not suppose to put weight on so maybe no matter what or how much u eat it might not work. I have the opposite problem. I need to lose and it is not going very fast. None last sunday and tomorrow will find out if i have lost any this last week.

Lets see. Today was
Smoothie of lettuce, romaine lettuce, spinach, apple, banana and orange. Had for lunch also.
I worked at the church for funeral and in order to not eat the goodies they had i ate dill pickles. I know it is not raw but it was the best i could do.
when i got home I ate about two handfuls of nuts
8 carrots
2 stalks of celery
1 banana and will prob have a grapefruit before going to bed.

Green Smoothie with collards, goji berries, pineapples, strawberries bananas, a little water an a little agave oh and E3live.

Raw pizza on flax herb bread that I made. My pizza had sunflower seed cheeze, marinara sauce, cauliflower, broccoli, yellow peppers, dulse (whole), and pistachio pesto.

a raw revolution chocolate bar.

Strawberry white chocolate cheeze cake.

Alissa's Crepe's.

Everything was all raw of course! I ate like a queen. I can't believe how delicious Alissa's crepes were. Simply delicious! I was ranting and raving to my mom that she has to stop by and try them. She tries all of my raw creations!

This morning I'm going to chop up a huge salad and keep it in the fridge to eat throughout the day - I LOVE doing this! Then I have my mac ranch dressing...mmmmmmmmmmm

Grapefruit (I'm LOVING grapefruit...and to think, b4 raw, I would NEVER touch the things, I thought they were bitter and gross. Now I love their juiciness and fresh taste...mmm)
Snack:
Green apple (1 or 2)
Lunch:
Angelhair pasta with marinara (ok well the pasta is in round form - I'm not impressed with my spiralizer - no matter how hard I press, I cant get the stringies to separate - they just score...and I'm not wasting a hour to separate the buggers - have a world cuisine one on order
Snack: baby carrots
Dinner: not sure yet...probably a large salad with Sunflower Pate on top...

Tonight is shopping night for week 3 of the 4 week challenge - I'm switching up the broccoli soup with the curried yam bisque and I think I'm going to do the broc and cheese and a calzone too...just for fun ;)

Hi All,

Today on my first 100% raw as I could get it, I made a HUGE salad with chopped veggies. It included kale, tomatoes, yellow and grreen zuchini squash iceberg lettuce, onion shredded carrots sunflower seed and flax seed a dressing of olive oil and vinegar.

I at that for all my meals plus 2 tblspoons sunflower seeds and about 3 tblsp "real" peanut butter.

That was the best I could do with my finances.

Dinner-large green salad similar to lunch but with more variety of veggies

Dessert-either Date Nut Torte or banana ice cream or my Choco-Orange Balls and a mug of warm water (love warm water before bedtime!)

Hubby is still raw this month (yippee for him!) and his food will be lots of bananas, a Lara bar, large cabbage salad, figs for snacking on, and the same large salad as I am having for dinner with added Taco Mush. He is doing great, down 10 pounds so far too!

this morning before a hike, i had three delicious dates
when i got home, i had a bowl of sliced mango, a few chopped dried apple rings and dried apricots, with a tablespoon of freshly ground flax meal in some vanilla brazil nut milk

for lunch i had sushi, with miso/jicama/sweet potato/dulse rice, mung bean sprouts, and cucumbers, and it was so delicous, i ate a bit too much and too fast, and am now stuffed.

not sure about dinner yet, maybe just kombucha and some sliced sweet potato (i have a really good one!) before yoga. . .

I was 100% raw today! :D :D Well, aside from my multi-vitamin and about 5 pieces of gum... So, about, what? 90-95% raw? That's still a first-time for me!

B: Green smoothie (kale, carrot, orange, banana, flax seeds)
L: Carrots sticks, spouted lentils, grapes
S: Raw almonds, banana
D: Fruit salad (honeydew, canteloupe, watermelon, grapes, pineapple), green salad w/cucumber, tomato, carrots.
S: Frozen corn, grapes

I'm not sure if I ate enough food though. I'm not hungry, so I guess that's a good sign!

I had a big green smoothi for breakfast made with a pear, lots of greens, sprouted lentils and mung beans, a little tahini and a cup of water. for lunch I had about 3 cups of a salad-lots of greens, plus parsley and cilantro, sprouted lentis and mung beans, broccoli, carrots, celery--4 strawberries, 3 carob confectin balls (Nomi Shannon's book). On the way home I had an apple and a banana. When I got home I had 3 caob confections, plus some flax crackers with almond butter. I'll probably have an orange later in the evening.

1 apple

Thats like 4000-5000 calories and i hardly ate!!

Dinner is not raw: antibiotic/preservative free chicken sausage...not sure what I am having with it...most likely a salad to get some green in for the day.

Dinner I had a horrible craving for pasta, so, I made some ezekiel pasta with lightly sauteed garlic, kale (since I had some around and supposedly cooking reduces the goitrogens,) salt, cracked pepper and macnut oil.

I find myself craving cooked foods around dinner time... I think I'll get some ingredients to make a raw, savory soup for tomorrow, as salads have stopped appealing to me after a solid month :o

today i feasted! actually i spent the afternoon making a couple of raw dishes to have on hand in the fridge with my boyfriend! he's having a lot more fun than i imagined he would!

b-juice with watermelon, strawberries and apricots
l-snacked all afternoon while preparing: 3 dips, one herbed cheese, and alissa's date nut tort
s-shared a piece of date nut tort
d-mix of carrot sticks, celery, radishes, cauliflower and broccoli with dips: spinach avocado, cucumber dip, and an herbed cheese!

ummmm, then got hungry again because i think i was bored and ate a lot of nuts... hmmmm.... am trying not to do that.

but today was fun! made and tried lots of new things! the date nut tort is fantastic!!! and the spinach avocado dip is incredible! both from alissa's book!

Right now I am drinking juice from 8 organic grapefruits=30oz:eek: mixed with greens powder/hemp protein and hemp oil !:)

For today...

Smoothie-bananas, raspberries, blueberries, pineapple, romaine, spinach

Juice-carrots, kale, lemon, ginger, cucumber, apple

Pea salad-peas(!), raw Ranch Dressing, onion, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots

Banana shake-almond mylk, bananas, dates, cinnamon, nutmeg

Dinner-probably a cabbage wrap and dessert most likely banana vice cream

I am STILL hungry! I feel like a bottomless pit! So I am about to have an ear of corn!

Around 12 I will have the rest of my green smoothie and pray that I don't get too hungry.

Breakfast - green smoothie with fresh pineapple, frozen grapes, frozen banana, 1 tablespoon Spirulina, 1 tablespoon Alissa's green food powder, 2 cups filtered water.

Snack - some curry almonds

Lunch - bowl of chocolate/chocolate chip ice dream.

Snack - I'll have a grapefruit

Dinner - not sure yet...I'll make it up once I get my organic "box" of goodies tonight. YAY!!!

Green smoothie for breakfast and lunch (kale, spinach, banana, pineapple, and strawberries)

Salad (red leaf lettuce, spinach, green onions, corn, orange pepper, radishes, avo, basil, topped with hemp seeds with lemon and garlic dressing for dinner.

Snacked on a handful of cashews and raisins mid-afternoon, and will probably have some cherries later for dessert.

Yerba Mate tea with agave

Green Juice with red chard, dandelion, ginger, lemon, apple, cukes
Buckwheaties cereal with walnuts, raisins, pumpkin pie spice and almond mylk
a piece of St. Alvarado bakery sprouted grain bread (not raw)
Green smoothie with mango, peach, banana, strawberries, spinach, parsley, and green powder

Later, I plan to have:

a big salad!!

1 Banana

Mid - Grapefruit and Cucumber juice

Lunch: Apple, some pecans

Mid - 2 Bananas blended with ice, stevia and cacao

Dinner: Spinach / tomato / avocado / Mushroom salad with nutritional yeast and ACV

Mid - Blackberry and banana / aloe vera juice smoothie

So far today, I had (keep in mind I'm only 80-90% raw raw and not vegan yet, since I'm preggo and just transitioning)...

Morning snack: 2/3 of a banana (shared with the baby).

Breakfast: fruit salad...apples, pears, grapes, kiwi, strawberries, bananas, walnuts (sooooo good)

Lunch: Salad with lettuce, baby spinach, jicama, onion, cucumbers, a little cheese on top

...and I'm feeling great! :p

Yesterday I have a huge slice of watermelon, an orange, a salad with dill dressing and avocado and some raw cashews we know aren't really raw. I ran out of garlic and thought my life had ended! Woo, garlic is back though. :p

plans: more green smoothie, and a beet/carrot slaw for dinner w/ flax crackers ( i made a batch with lots of fresh blended chives from the garden- chive crackers :) made to taste a bit like sour cream & onion potato chips)

I had a green smoothie with collard, dandellion, banana and water.

Then I had a piece of raw pizza at 9.30am.

I will have a big bowl of banana ice cream for lunch (frozen banana blend with cashrew butter and raw honey)

I plan to have a pound of strawberries for afternoon snack.

And Dinner will be a big green salad with avocado, kale, dandellion, zucchini, tomato and ACV dressing.

And Papaya for dessert.

Afternoon snack-smoothie with soaked figs, bananas, romaine

I'm doing some uncooking today so I made Ranch Dressing which I use in wraps and a wonderful Cheezecake that is in the freezer firming up for later on.

So for today...

Orange juice

Bowl of leftover cheezecake filling with strawberries

Smoothie-banana, red leaf lettuce, blueberries, pineapple, flax

Spinach salad-spinach, figs, purple onion, apple, pear, strawberries, dressing of balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and olive oil

Wrap-cabbage, grated carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, Ranch Dressing, sunflower seeds

Dessert!!! That wonderful Cheezecake with Raspberry Sauce!!!
