Alrighty, today I made Alissa's flax crackers, and I didn't have fresh ginger, so I used a tbsp. of ground. I don't know if this affected the taste of the recipe, but it tasted exactly like Top Ramen (chicken flavored kind).
I eeven asked my non-raw brother.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on how I could make a sauce that retains this flavor? I was going to dehydrate some zucchini noodles a bit, to get rid of the wateryness of them, and then make a ramen-flavored sauce to pour on top. I'm planning on experimenting tomorrow, but if anyone has any ideas before hand, I'd love to hear them!

I made a sauce that had exactly ramen flavors, but I can't remember exact measurements. I know it had some garlic, ginger, miso, nama shoyu, scallions and a little bit of sesame oil. I think that was it. Do some experimenting!

If the crackers taste exactly like what you're looking for, perhaps you could try grinding them into a powder and then rehydrating with some miso or just some water?

That's actually exactly what I was thinking of doing today! I was going to grind the left over crackers in the vitamix, add water untill it's a saucy consistancy, and then pour over zucchini.

MMM I'm getting hungry!
