I am about 50 percent raw now. Just starting out. Was on a Candida type diet and been detoxing for awhile. Realized after researching when I got sick almost 4 years ago that I had been dealing with Candida problems my whole life. Been working on healing for past 4 years.

Since detoxing, I've had a lot of lymphatic congestion. Does anyone have any ideas to help with the lymphs?

I'd like to do some fasting, but am a little underweight right now. Don't want to lose anymore weight.

Any information from others would be appreciated.

Hey there! Welcome!
Three things come to mind to help with the lymphatic system (draining).
First - dry skin brushing
Second - Rebounding
Third - www.t-tapp.com
T-Tapp is a lymphatic workout. Designed to do just that. There's lots of try before you buy exercises. Teresa Tapp, the creator has had problems with her lymphatic system and created this specifically for that.
Good luck!
Oh - maybe green smoothies. They seem to help just about everything!

Welcome...

As far as the lymph goes....it can't dump unless your moving or it's getting some type of external stimulation. So...I'd definitely recommend getting a rebounder that has a deep bounce (easier on the joints), swim ( the pressure from the water stimulates the lymph), or go see a lymph drainage therapist. You could find one in your area...look up under Dr. Upledger...he trains them, and sends them out to the world:p .

And a sidenote to encourage you: I have had a huge lymph node under my arm for 9 yrs...the size of an egg. When I went vegan it decreased in size, but was still there. Even seeing a therapist, and using my rebounder...they all helped, but never made it go away completely. I've been 100% raw now for over a month...and it's gone...there is nothing there anymore. So diet for me was the main help...and the rest just helped it along. Isn't raw wonderful?!
Warmly,
Mishka

Thank you for sharing that Mishka. I love hearing stories about how raw foods healed people.
