I've been making green smoothies everyday lately (love um), but instead of adding water to my fruit and greens, I tried adding almond milk and I think that makes it taste so much better than water. Does anybody else make em like that?

Me! This is one of the many versions of green smoothies I make. The longer I drink green smoothies the more variations I've tried because I just don't even taste the greens in them anymore.

One favorite is...
almond milk
banana
dates
cinnamon
romaine
and sometimes I add strawberries

Yum!

mm... I make mine with almond milk. I love them! My husband likes them, too. They don't get foamy, either. Hooray!

I don't like it with water. I like either almond milk or half raw cider and half water (1 cup each). I am still a sweethead!

Almond milk is my fav. to put in smoothies now. Heres my fav lately:
2 big handfuls of spinach
small handful goji berries
2 dates
2 frozen bananas
almond milk
flax oil
spirulina
-sorry i dont do measurements well, i just eyeball and taste
-soak the goji berries and dates and use the water to add to the smoothie. I dont like mine super thick so this is perfect.
I love green smoothies!

Well, I didn't make one for lunch yesterday (as I didn't have any goji berries or dates soaked), so I made it work breakfast this morning. WOW! It puts a whole new zing on the green smoothie! It is very good. If you haven't tried this, you MUST!
YUM-OH!!!!

It really is. It makes it creamier and sweeter and just a totally different flavor. I have a couple mangos I need to use up. The possibilities are endless. I never gave it a thought about adding almond mylk.
Actually the mylk I have been adding?
Almond/Brazil nut mylk! Yum!
