I made the corn tortillas from Raw Food Real World (along with their avocado-corn quacamole).

I made Rawkinlocs refried beans (http://rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=22313)

Pear Salad from Woody Harrelson's site (http://www.voiceyourself.com/09_dakinekitchen/09_easy.php#5).

And Apple Cobbler from The Raw Table (http://www.therawtable.com/recipecoll/applepie.htm).

All were great and will definitely become regulars in our menu.

Yum!

Hey Beckla,
Thanks for the feedbacks on her crab cakes. I've been wondering what they were like.

This weekend I've made:

- sauerkraut
- kimchi
- Alissa's raviolis (Man, do I love these!)
- a delicious French dressing I came up with
- cream of zucchini soup (sooooo simple but sooooo good)

And I'm about to get the uncooking ball rolling for:
- savori nori snacks from Raw Pleasure Australia's free ebook
- Alissa's calzone
- Rich cheddar sauce
- Pizza

Oh, and I might try a chocolate cake recipe in the dehydrator too. We'll see if I have any energy left by that time... LOL

~I made Russell's lasagna. Boy is it tasty!

I usually tweak the recipes to what I have on hand. This time I followed his recipe to the "T" and it was worth it.

~I am also drinking alot of carrot-apple-ginger juice. It is helping my digestion. I call it "Ginger Rogers" 'cause it makes me want to dance!!

~Plenty of wheatgrass shots to get my greens in!

No un-cookin' for me this weekend, I'm heading over to Carmella's to have some nori snacks, calzone and pizza... YUM.

But seriously, I made some stir dry yesterday with julienned daikon, butternut squash, parsnip with mung bean sprouts, radish sprouts, cabbage, chard, bok choy and the kitchen sink LOL... I made a tamarind sauce to put over it.

I then made a cauliflower rice dish and made the both in to nori rolls.

I've been eating this for lunch. Lay some sprouts on the nori, some cauliflower rice, then I topped it with the kitchen sink stir-dry... wrap it up tight and there's lunch!

For dinner I had butternut squash soup last night and tonight I plan to have Tanja's tomato soup... gosh I love that soup. For dessert, Petals version of chocolate pudding with cherry sauce! YUM.

I made and ate:

fajitas with the Jalapeno cheese wrapped in a huge romaine leaf
broccoli salad with raisens and chili pistascio's( out of this world, flavorwise)!
salads :red tip lettuce, baby greens with veggies on top and raw ranch dressing
left over raw rasberry cheesecake (the one from this site)
RP's delicious brownies
Fruit..fruit, and more fruit

Being raw...the flavors are intense...and at times just "bursting" with flavor. I don't remember feeling that way when I ate cooked and raw together!

I haven't been nearly as ambitious as the rest of you, but thought I ws doing well to make pizza finally. It took the better part of a week what with all the sprouting and all, but it's in the dehydrator now and I can't wait to taste it. I'm going to make some cashew cream later, and maybe some carob confections from the Raw Gourmet. I also want to make some breakfast patties this week. I'll be out of town at a conference for 5 days and want to bring some food that will travel. (Maybe I'll start a new thread about that.:p )

Ama! Come on over!

The calzone will be ready for supper tomorrow and we even have a little Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake left for dessert... LOL

Blazin'Jane,
Breakfast patties, eh? Sounds yum! Would you mind sharing the recipe or where you got it from?

Thanks a bunch!
