lol, its true! so in addition to my family and roommates all wanting to go raw...i work at a "health food" cafe (your basic tofu, tempeh, seitan dishes) and i told my boss this weekend that i'd decided to go raw. well she thought it was really great and wanted me to help create some raw dishes to sell at the cafe. also a coworker of mine is really excited about it, i was showing her alissas book last night and i dont think i've ever seen her so excited! :D

What a great opportunity to work in a receptive place that sees opportunities from great employees. I'm glad they are listening and you could be the key to bringing them more business. Way to go!
and put a smile on my face! Isn't that great to know that you're helping the people you love to live healthier lives?
I just did the full transition, but I know already, and I knew already in my gut that my body will agree it's a good idea. I can't wait for my husband and mother to see a real difference, and maybe they'll want to switch too!
Yay for your people either way. :)

I bet when u start showing how wonderful eating this way is for u, u will have more converts. I am the only one here eating raw. I have a son, DIL and two grandchildren. I dont know if any of them could do it but I keep hopeing that some of what i am doing will rub off. My DIL is a short very very very heavy person. I know she is uncomfortable a lot of times. I can tell the way she sits that her tummy is to big to get her arms around herself to be more comfy. I want to tell her what to do but she sees what i am doing and she has to want to do the same. Even before raw when i gave up most meats and did almost nothing but fruit and veggies i lost a lot. So far since June of 2006 i have lost 74#s. I feel so good and I know that i had the same problems she had but being so much older with arthritis it was harder for me. Now I have lots of energy and pep. I can do things i could not do. I still have 51#s to lose to be where i want to be but it will go. I know it will and by that time i will be one healthy person as long as I stick with this. Hopefully by then my psoriasis will be cleared up also.:D
Sounds like everything is coming up roses for u. Great going.
