New from RI

Hello, I'm here because I've just dicovered raw, and I'm obsessed...I can't seem to get enough info, and need to meet or at least chat with some like-minded folks (because although my husband is supportive...he's clueless).
My switch began about a month ago when I became vegan, but a lot of cooked foods. I stumbled across a raw food book, and have read 3 since, and I've been raw for a week and loving it!
Is anyone here from RI? I see a lot of events in MA, which is still so close, but wondering if there is anyone in my backyard.
I can't wait to learn more from you all....hope you don't mind me picking brains.

I am from Western Mass, myself, but am living in Northern, NY right now. I still go to Western Mass once a month or so.

Like you, I wish there was some Raw Food Social Stuff in my area, but I'm in the heart of Meat Country.:eek: ;)

My family is in the Plattsburgh area....so somewhere in Clinton County.

Wow, that's not too far out of the ball park! I'm in Franklin County.
It seems that everything is soo darn far from me, but Plattsburgh, while about an hour away, is at least is in my vicinity! Neat!:)

Perhaps our Raw Paths will cross someday!:)
