In Alissa's store there are hemp seeds and help protein. What is the difference? Does the hemp protein have as much silicon as the seeds?

Anyone used these?

I know that soy protein is an isolate of soy. So I assume that hemp protein is also an isolate.

I have both hemp seeds and protein by Manitoba Harvest and the protein is like a green powder. The seeds are little beige seeds.

seeds have more fat and help add texture. Hemp is awesome.

I'm also curious about this because my HFS carries the seeds. What do you DO with the seeds?? Do they need to be ground like flax??

THEY are delish !!!!!!! you can eat them as is, they are perfection really. GO GET SOME A.S.A.P. They oil is a little stronger than flax in taste, the nuts are very soft and easily added to anything. The powder is much the same I love them !:D :D :D

I use the protein powder almost every day :) I love it, but the flavor has to be diluted in pretty thick smoothies lol

Ok, what is the hemp protein hype about? I'm wondering
1-What is so wonderful about it compared, say, to soy protein or whey protein?
2- Would it be good to mix in my water bottles for very long multi-day bike rides?
:o
Thanks

Soy probably ain't that good for us, and it's not raw.
Whey is dairy, which doesn't follow this specific "diet" (I hate that word.)

It's one of nature's most perfect foods. It's also one of the best renewable resources for fiber to make paper, cloth, rope and a bazillion other things. The plant is basically a weed and can be grown without fertilizers or other synthetic chemicals. It's an outrage that it is illegal to grow in the US.

Google it.
