I am quite new to raw food but I do have little bit experience because I have few time tried to become 100% raw but I never succeeded, after few weeks I started to eat cooked food again, sadly. I was so angry on me but I couldn't do anything about it

I now admit that I felt so much better and I had so much energy that I want to have it back now for good and I do want to stay raw for a very long time.

Now I am little bit asking for help to stay on this wonderful trail and I would want to know how you succeed to become all raw ? I know I need some support but I don't know anyone who is raw and who I can ask stupid questions :o .

Here in Finland we don't have all the wonderful fruits and other vegetables the whole time ( around the year) because our winter is very long and cold and I am living in very small city where the supermarkets are not that good provided with everything what would be organic and raw. It would be good for me to know if here is someone else from Scandinavian or from a very small city. I would want to know how do you do it and what you usually eat ?

I have one other weird question.... :o The company where I work pays our food so that's why I am always eating on the company restaurant and they do have quite good sallad table but it's not variable and it's quite boring. I am usually looking envy at my workmates plate because they eat "normal" food and it's very good and satisfy. What do you do if you fall into this kind of problem ? what is you solve to eat your wonderful food ?

I am glad to be here and I want to be healthy :).

Love

Welcome to you! You will find this forum filled with information and I'm sure there are others from small towns such as yours that will answer questions.
If you can afford and have access to mail order items such as dates and nuts maybe that would help your foods not be so boring. You could make different creations to take to work even though your company pays for your food on those days when you just don't feel like eating a salad. If you have a blender you could make green smoothies to take. I feel if there is a will, there is a way. And how much healthier you are because of it.
Good luck in your journey!

Welcome! Hey, don't beat yourself up over those previous attempts at being Raw. I did the same thing for the last eight months and have now come to view them as part of the growing process to becoming raw. Perhaps if you get the basic salad at work you could bring extras from home to make it feel more substantial. If the local grocery store is pretty limited, it may force you into the wonderful world of sprouting! There's lots of love and support for you here on this forum. Lots of times when I got back into eating addictively of cooked food, this board nurtured me back onto the right path. Again, welcome. p.s. would love to know how to pronounce Siina

WELCOME!

I think its great that you are trying this again!

I believe that the more informed you are about what you are doing, the foods you are ingesting, and the rewards that raw, organic foods can produce, you'll be more likely to WANT to continue!

So, what I am doing is researching about raw everything! There's really an abundance of ressources out there! Start slow..

Another thing, you're here for a reason, contemplate that, take things slowly, make simple meals... and EAT WHENEVER AND WHATEVER YOU WANT.. as long as its raw!

Good luck and warmest welcome again!

I know others have said this too, but many really yummy Raw items are available for purchase online and provided variety to what sounds like a rather boring existance of salad bars. I can't imagine only ever eating from a salad bar.... I'd crack pretty fast too!

Hi !!

Thank you all for these wonderful tips. It feels realy good to be here and tomorrow I will start to eat 75 % raw and after that I will continue with eating more raw every week, hopefully I will soon be at 100 %. I am very motivated but little bit afraid of how everything will go. I am quite positive after all so hopefully I will succeed this time because I do want to be healthy and natural :)
