I just made Naked Chocolate's Chocolate Banana Bread and all it says is to dehydrate it.

I can't imagine it looking like a loaf of regular banana bread by trying to manipulate it into one with hands. It'll probably look like a glob!!!

I have a 9 tray excalibur. Can you put glass or metal in it if I remove some of the trays??? My dehydrater book is quiet about that. :confused: :confused: :confused:

i've seen pictures of dehydrated lasagna in a glass-pyrex dish, so i'm guessing it's ok. sad people put glass and metal in their ovens, and a dehydrator has much much less heat. i would just put it on the bottom if it's really heavy, so as not to break a plastic shelf.

Yes, glass is perfect for the dehydrator and yes, you can remove some of the trays. I do all the time.

thanks. I have them dehydrating in a glass dish right now, although they won't look like bread loafs, more like bars......
