hey. i always feel pretentious writing intros, but here goes:
i'm vez, 16 from aylesbury (hate it).
went vegetarian over 2 years ago, vegan about 10 months ago.
have recently taken a massive interest in raw food, since i've been consuming way too much crap in the form of artificial sweeteners and wotnot (i try to keep my diet low-sugar, but i've realised that subbing it with sweetener is not the way to go).
i'm currently halfway thru an intensive 100% raw week. at the end i intend to go back to un-raw foods, but try and incorporate as much raw stuff as possible, and maybe have one raw day a week/one raw week a month or something. also, prior to the raw week, i made the decision to totally cut out refined crap, so no white bread, rice, sugar, pasta etc. for me from now on.
and, contrary to what most (non-vegan, non-raw) people think, doing raw has been really interesting for me, coz i'm having to try out new methods of food prep. also it's stopped me snacking on anything other than fruit/veg, which is obviously a massive plus.
so there you have it. i'm not gonna go into my life history/interests or whatever, coz it'll bore you, and has nothing to do with this forum anyway.
